Mobile Lighting Towers - Event Rental

Background

Red Bull Reign is a FIBA 3×3 basketball competition. In 2016 the Queensland regional qualifiers were held in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast, and organisers needed mobile lighting for the full event.

Objective

Light the courts for players and spectators with minimal noise and intrusion on the crowd.

Solution

PR Power supplied five PR4000 Mobile Lighting Towers on hire for the duration of the event. Each PR4000 runs 4 × 1000 W metal halide lamps lighting up to 4,200 m², mounted on a 9 m vertical hydraulic mast. A central lockable control panel kept the towers secure in a busy public space.

The courts stayed lit for players and spectators throughout, with reduced noise and efficient lighting. Our Brisbane office in Arundel is on the Gold Coast, close by for event support.
